On November 9, 2024, geologist and Negreheb will be in charge of the OpenStreetMap stand at the Maker Faire Salzburg, a trade fair for tinkerers and DIYers, and will be inspiring new and old mappers on site.
The Maker Faire runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and takes place at TriBühne Lehen, Tulpenstraße 1, Salzburg.
On November 11, 2023, Mapper Negreheb will be at Maker Faire Salzburg, a trade fair for tinkerers and DIYers, to supervise the OpenStreetMap stand and inspire new and old mappers on site.

After 12 long years, the time has finally come - there is a Stammtisch in Salzburg again. The informal get-together is intended to provide an opportunity to get to know each other (again) and share the enthusiasm for the OpenStreetMap project.

Participation in the Stammtisch is free of charge and everyone is welcome, whether you are already involved in OpenStreetMap, want to learn more about the project or need information on how to give back. Take the opportunity to make contacts and exchange ideas with like-minded people.
As already announced with OSM at GISalzburg 2023, we were represented at GI Salzburg 2023 (Tue 04.07.2023 – Thu 06.07.2023) with our OpenStreetMap Austria stand. Furthermore, we helped to run the FOSSGIS and OSGEO stands for FOSSGIS e.V.
We arrived on Monday, July 3, 2023, to use the evening to set up.

The local chapter will also be represented at this year’s GISalzburg (Tue 04.07.2023 - Thu 06.07.2023), Austria’s trade fair and conference on applied geoinformation in Salzburg, with a stand sponsored by the organizers and accommodation and travel costs sponsored by FOSSGIS e.V! In addition to OpenStreetMap, we are helping out in the FOSSGIS and OSGeo area with exhibition material provided by FOSSGIS e.V.
