The Linuxwochen Vienna will take place at the FH Technikum Wien from 02/05/2019 to 04/05/2019! https://www.linuxwochen.at/ The CallForPapers for the submission of your own contributions has been running for a few days now.

There are rumours that there will be a focus track on open geodata and GIS.

This Thursday, 21 March 2019, Doctors Without Borders is hosting a mapathon in Vienna: https://www.aerzte-ohne-grenzen.at/event/mapathon

Dear OpenStreetMap enthusiasts in Styria, we invite you to the March OSM meet-up in Graz - the last one before the Grazer Linuxtage 2019 (26-27 April), where we will meet in April instead of the meet-up.

By the way: we are still looking for helpers for the Grazer Linuxtage, including for the OSM stand.

On Friday, 6 September 2019, an exciting event will take place: PgDay Austria, a mini-conference all about the popular relational open-source database PostgreSQL.

This is particularly interesting because it is precisely this database that is used for the central storage of the primary OpenStreetMap database.

Papers can still be submitted at https://pgday.at/programm/ until 01/04/2019. The conference is organised by the PostgreSQL consulting company CyberTec (www.cybertec-postgresql.com).

The international State Of The Map conference will take place in Heidelberg from 21 to 23 September 2019! Contributions can be submitted until 25 April 2019 and there is a travel grant programme (see quoted text below)
